    Facing one of the top defensive lines and scoring defenses in the state  the War Eagles came out top!

    While we might have lost the nail-biter of a game Homecoming happened.  The 12th man roared, the court was packed with football players and one of ours (#54 Luke Sears) won the crown of King.

    On a beautiful night and in a fantastic stadium, fans saw the War Eagles win 17-9 in a fun and tough contest.

    War Eagles celebrate after beating Lambert 9-7 in an end of season, for all the marbles, exciting matchup .

    Jack Dean made the catch for the War Eagles only score on the day.

    In the final minutes Austin Uidel made an outstanding catch for the score to put us within 2.

    The War Eagles won 35-13 at rival Lambert Longhorns bringing the all-time series to 8-4 in favor of South.

  • JV wins on the road at N. Forsyth

    The JV traveled to Raider Valley and came away with the 21-14 victory on a rainy Wednesday night game.

  • The JV faces a tough Hapeville Charter

    9/9/21. Covid cancellations left an opening in the scedule and the two teams rose to the challenge. South gets the win 12-0

  • Varsity travels to Central Gwinnett

    War Eagles visited the Castle on a beautiful Sept. 10th night and earned the win 30-7.

  • 9th Grade Has First Home Game

    The freshmen played an action packed game in War Eagle Stadium against Dawson County on Sept. 9th.

  • 9th Grade Opens Season

    After a bye week for week one the 9th grade opens their season at West.

    In another great game with Dawson County the War Eagles win 42-17

  • War Eagle Football Is Back!

    The season opened on the road at Roswell.

    In June, future War Eagles had fun working and playing hard learning the game from the War Eagle coaches.

    After being covid canceled in 2020, War Eagles participate in the Corky Kell Classic 7-on-7 Invitational.

    And the tradition continues as “The Game” was played on Friday 5/21.

  • A Tradition Reborn

    The Blue/White Dinner came back in 2021.  The evening saw smiling faces, food trucks, and rising 9th grade War Eagles finally able to slide on that War Eagle jersey for the first time.

  • A special tradition

    In May,  Senior football players were invited to attend War Eagle cheerleaders being presented with their megaphones.
