HUGE second half pulls South to 5-0

South Forsyth improved to 5-0 with a 37-20 victory over Lassiter.  South trailed 10-9 at half after a big play from Lassiter to close the half.  It didn’t take south long to regain the lead over Lassiter on the back of Jared Honey.  He scampered for a long TD run to put South up 16-13 and the War Eagles didn’t look back.  With the score 16-13 entering the fourth quarter, the War Eagles went on a 21-0 run to finish it. Jared Honey scored three rushing touchdowns and rushed for 193 yards on 31 carries.  The defense was stout the second half only allowing a field goal until a late last seconds TD.

Next up is Lambert at Home after a week off.
